A Bit Delayed

George informs us that he is now the President of SAM Number 4 (Congratulations George!). George then tells us a little bit about what it’s like at magic conventions and when hanging out with a group of magicians. They boys then discuss the revitalization of physical media in a very digital world.

Patrick gives credit to George for the way he hauls his entire act with him, as he has done a lot of gear lugging for Ball Busters. George then starts to discuss a pro wrestling storyline to Patrick, which sets Patrick off on the commercialization and hiring of questionable people. They then discuss wrestling star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (AEW, as well as appearances in “Happy Gilmore 2” & “The Iron Claw”) and how he is perfectly able to walk the line as to where the real person and character starts and stops, as if it is the 1970s or 1980s all over again. So yes, dear listeners…this is another discussion about pro wrestling. Moreso about the business and character side, so we believe there’s a little something for everyone in this one.

George talks about how he's dialed in his show to be ready for multiple performances a night, and compares it to the bigger productions he has worked on over the years. All that and more- including some Taylor Swift references George does and doesn't get- on this week's episode!

After some deliberation, George has named his segment! In addition to the occasional dose of “Tin Foil Hat Time with Pat,” we now have “Gee, That’s Random!” George will occasionally share some random facts with us; this episode he shares some movie trivia, as well as one bit of trivia that makes Patrick BIG mad.

This week’s episode…explains a lot! Patrick & George share stories of being dropped on their heads as babies and toddlers. George then proposes a DARK scenario to Patrick…which leads to talking about “reality” TV shows, George Carlin’s acting career, and a movie universe conspiracy theory that unites The Matrix with Star Wars!

This week's guest is Robert Malissa, a Philadelphia area magician who fell in love with magic at an early age. Robert talks about learning magic and how, as a kid, the book he read that taught him his first ten tricks ended with "Now go perform!" So he did, and he has never stopped. His magic has taken him various Fringe Festivals in the county; however, this year he gets to add the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival to his resume! Robert also perform the Philadelphia Magic Tour, giving his audience a historical tour of Philadelphia, while using magic to help illustrate and drive the lessons home! Don't miss this fun interview with one of our most dynamic guests yet!
