Patrick & George continue into the new year where they left off last week; discussing the holiday songs that get stuck in your head. Afterwards, they discuss what they have coming up that they are excited about in the new year; Patrick is producing shows and performing in a new state, and George is heading to Appleton, Wisconsin for this year’s Society of American Magicians’ Convention, which will also recognize the 100th anniversary of Houdini’s passing. Patrick also hypes George up, as they chip away at each other’s bouts with impostor syndrome as they move onwards and upwards into the new year.

This week's guest is one of Patrick's mentors in comedy, his "sister from another mister," Christine Grillon! Christine talks about how she was told about diving head first, after years of encouragement, into comedy and being a natural at it; her third ever comedy performance was on the big stage at Caesar's in Atlantic City! This led to multiple appearances in clubs and other venues in New York City and the surrounding area. This led to her forming the company Four Fourteen Entertainment with her late mother Pat, who Patrick considers the "Fairy Godmother," of his comedy career. Patrick & George ask Christine about her writing process and the culture she and Pat worked to build under the Four Fourteen umbrella, which Patrick proudly carries on in Arizona. Patrick & George are both not feeling their best today, and they discuss it. Patrick shares his shopping list to battle the common cold, and George tells us his routine for making the most of a day where you do not want to get off the couch. They then discuss what they did as kids for school days, and if they had dream schools when they were college age. The boys round out the episode discussing Patrick's upcoming projects, "Roll for Charisma," (This Wednesday, 12/17, in Mesa, AZ) and "ON DECK," on January 25th!

This week we interview one of George's mentors in magic, "Magic Man," John Mitsopoulos (Or as George and his former classmates call him, “Mr. Mitso.”). John briefly speaks about his early days as a teacher and track coach, before he made magic his extracurricular activity. This leads John to create the magic club that George joined to kick his drive and love of magic into overdrive. After reminiscing a bit about their relationship, John begins to tell the boys about his record setting powerlifting career. John is the first magician, first author, and first world record holder on the podcast. Enjoy this fun conversation!
