Episode 9: Would You Like To Play a Game?

Patrick & George are recording TOGETHER in Arizona! They celebrate the occasion with Patrick's first sip of RC Cola; his reaction bothers George. Then they move on to Patrick and Grace's adventures playing Baldur's Gate 3 and George's strategy in Monopoly, which explains why no one wants to play the game with him. The boys round out the episode by discussing get rich quick schemes, businesses that fail so hard they're on television, and (probably) butchering the geography of Maricopa County, Arizona.

Episode 8: Cat-talica Roller Derby!

George surprises Patrick with their guest for the episode, Catherine "Cat" Gee! Cat helped the boys brainstorm their podcast name when they first decided to start one (as well as her own podcast name, topic pending!). George and Cat then tell us the story of seeing Metallica in Philadelphia. They all also discuss the “Metallica-Quake,” and other concerts that have registered on the Richter Scale. Metallica’s message about suicide prevention also resonates, both with George as a veteran, and Cat working a bit in suicide prevention. George also goes on to compliment Vet Tix, a non-profit that gives veterans receive tickets to major events nationwide. They also talk a little bit about Cat and her Roller Derby career. This week, Ruben Castillo is on the podcast! Ruben is a singer, actor, emcee, and award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist. We talk to him about his early days of performing in the choir, to now running his own ELVIStory shows, and everything in between! Ruben embodies the spirit of what the "A Bit Delayed," podcast is about; life sometimes getting in the way, but overcoming its challenges to becoming the best professional artist you can. Ruben is an incredibly talented and wise man! The boys are honored to have had him for their first guest. On this episode, Patrick & George discuss their theme song, which was created by a member of Patrick's family! Patrick also catches George off guard with the "Pivot Questionnaire," which was made famous by its regular usage on the show Inside the Actor's Studio. George then turns the tables on Patrick, asking him the same questions. Patrick makes it look easy...kind of.

This week, Patrick & George talk about the week of Patrick’s “surprise” birthday party. It starts off with “Roll for Charisma,” a Dungeons & Dragons inspired stand-up comedy show. After that, the boys discuss Patrick’s “WrestleBeania” party and a fun surprise his girlfriend had in store for him. This leads them to wax poetic about the wrestling storylines they watched as kids, how it has become a global phenomenon, and Patrick rides his moral high horse about certain people involved in professional wrestling.
